Annarie Boor

Annarie was born in Sishen, South Africa in 1979 and at the age of twelve she moved to Zambia. Annarie has always been an animal lover and while living in Zambia she had three monkeys, called Sarah, Jimmy and Rambo, two bush babies called Mr. Miaggi and NuNu, an Alsatian called Wolf, five tortoises and a guinea pig for pets.

Throughout this time Annarie was a keen dancer and at the age of fifteen, having passed her teaching examinations in England, she opened a dance school in Lusaka, Zambia.

After many years of successful teaching, but still only 22, Annarie moved to England to further her studies in Performance Arts. Following completion of these studies Annarie opened a dance & drama school in Cheltenham, England, and she still lives there with her husband and their little girl.

After long nights of being kept up by her baby girl as she was suffering badly with flu, Annarie created the animal called Bapsie, and just a few short months later the first Bapsie adventure was penned.
